Vosper Thornycroft, the UK based (Southampton HQ), shipbuilder and support services group, has reached agreement for NRG Group UK Limited to supply all photocopiers using their full digital range.

Until recently Vosper Thornycroft had six incumbent photocopier suppliers. The organisation then made a policy decision to work more closely with one photocopier company to provide a more modern and efficient range of machines and service. They were looking for a mid-range of digital machines, which could later be networked and serviced within tighter timescales.
Company-wide survey
The company decided to undertake a full survey of all existing machines. Following this, Vosper Thornycroft formed a Project Team, who short-listed two suppliers.
Implementation plan
The team entered negotiations with the short listed suppliers, and eventually selected their preferred supplier. An implementation plan was agreed using data from Vosper Thornycroft's survey and recommendations.
Paul McLean says that having opted for the recommended solution, 'We were also impressed by their consideration shown towards the finer details of multi-site implementation, without impairing Vosper Thornycroft users' to adjust specifications and procedures to suit their local business requirements.'
Installation, training and review
During the consultation process, Vosper Thornycroft noted that they received good and consistent sales and customer service staff help. The recommendations 'seem to have achieved the balance between user 'wants' and budget constraints.' The company were particularly pleased with the excellent help provided by Lesley Luck their Account Manager whilst installation and training were taking place. Users have reported positively on the new equipment, after sales care is 'excellent' and regular reviews are ongoing.
