| MP 2500/MP 2500LN/MP 2500SP – Cost effective, future-ready multitaskers serve any type of office environment  | | Gestetner today announced the launch of the MP 2500/MP 2500LN/MP 2500SP, a series of versatile, black and white, A3 capable multifunctional devices. Fully equipped with a range of workflow enhancing features, any of these three straightforward solutions can serve as the main device in small offices and as the workgroup device in mid to large sized offices. To adequately answer varying demands, these office devices are available in three configurations. While the MP 2500 is a stand-alone digital copier, the MP 2500LN adds basic, low cost DDST printing and TWAIN scanning capabilities, as well as network connectivity to the package. The MP 2500SP targets more demanding users, bundling advanced copy, print, scan and document distribution functionalities, as well as an optional fax. |

These new devices clearly have the potential to play a major role in expanding Gestetner’s market share and further consolidate and strengthen Gestetner’s position as overall market leader.” Producing 25 pages per minute (ppm) at 600 dpi quality, the MP 2500/MP 2500LN/MP 2500SP rapidly take care of all black and white office needs. With a maximum paper capacity of 2,100 sheets, user intervention is minimal. Duplex comes as standard, allowing users to effortlessly create double-sided documents, even in A3 size. Users can copy onto thick paper stock of up to 157 g/m² by using the 100-sheet bypass tray. The optional 500-sheet finisher lets users choose from different stapling positions to create professionally finished output. The MP 2500SP is the most advanced model in this series. Apart from bringing the user sophisticated copy, print and scan capabilities, it also offers excellent network connectivity and high-tech security features. Distributing information is fast and easy as scanned files can be sent by e-mail, transmitted to the user’s PC, a dedicated network folder, an FTP server and more. The MP 2500SP also comes with an optional fax with 33.6 Kbps modem, and bundles a range of convenient fax functions such as Internet Fax, IP Fax and LAN Fax. All three devices stand are easy to use. The intuitive, icon based operation panel swiftly guides users through any job. Paper and toner can be replenished quickly thanks to the easy handling paper trays and machine accessibility. Environmental issues are central to the design of all Gestetner’s products. Toxic free materials are used to comply with the EU ‘Restriction of Hazardous Substances’ (RoHS) directive. There is also low noise and ozone emission and low energy consumption. The standard paper saving duplex capability further underpins Gestetner’s commitment to the environment.
