Gestetner’s DSc428, DSc435 and DSc445 boost productivity with fast, quality printing and quick warm-up times. Colour speeds of 24/28/35ppm respectively mean that professional-looking documents are available when you need them. Black and white speeds are faster still (28/35/45ppm), ensuring rapid delivery and outstanding results, whatever the nature of your print job.
All three devices provide customers with high levels of security and visibility of costs. Colour printing can be restricted to specific users via the Windows-based authentication feature and is transparent with ‘pay per page’ control of printing costs. This feature allows IT Managers to restrict access to certain functions of the device through users’ log-on profiles. For secure environments, the Data Overwrite Security option automatically overwrites temporary information on the hard drive, providing added peace of mind.
Gestetner’s DSc428, DSc435 and DSc445 have a built-in set of IT tools to create a flexible, centralized document hub that includes distribution and archiving. Scan-to-Folder allows documents to be sent straight to specific network folders, whilst Scan-to-Email enables documents to be distributed directly to email addresses. These valuable tools help businesses improve efficiency, whilst also reducing reliance on paper documents.
The superior quality of Gestetner’s new toner delivers sharper image reproduction, due to smaller and more uniform particle size compared with conventional toners. This combined with a number of finishing options allows customers to produce professional-looking colour materials in-house, including booklets, stapled reports and vibrant colour presentations, at up to 1,200dpi. This reduces reliance on outsourced document production, saving extra time and money.
Environmental considerations are also satisfied by Gestetner’s DSc428, DSc435 and DSc445. Manufactured free of lead, cadmium, chromium and PVC, these devices can comply with future EU environmental legislation. Less energy is used in the production process of the DSc428, DSc435 and DSc445’s new toner, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 30%, compared to conventional toner production. The fax option offers further environmental benefits with ‘paperless fax’ features, Fax-to-Folder and Fax-to-Email features, which reduce paper consumption by directing incoming documents to specific network folders or inboxes.
