London, 27 March 2006 ---Today the NRG Group announced its event “Professionals in the Arena.” On the 4th and 5th April, the Ricoh Arena in Coventry (UK) is the backdrop for the NRG’s pan-European Production Print Event. Under the motto “Professionals in the Arena”, the NRG Group will demonstrate its capabilities in high-end production. Integrated solutions for Data-centre printing, CRD environments, as well as for Commercial and Quick printing will be displayed. Introducing new high-end printers to the portfolio end of 2005 has been contributing considerably to NRG’s awareness in the high-end production printing market.

Positioned as an open house, emphasis is on integrated workflows for professional customers. Four specifically chosen areas will highlight the companies’ offers. These areas represent workflow solutions for High-volume Corporate Production, In-house Data Centres, Quick printers and Commercial printing.
Aimed at informing end-users, intermediaries and media representatives, “Professionals in the Arena” is the first thematic event NRG is organizing on a large scale for the high-volume market.
In recent years NRG has gained wide experience in the high-volume market. With the introduction of its 85 pages per minute and 105 pages per minute models 6 years ago, NRG was the major contributor in the digitisation of the high-volume segment. Since then, our Family has become a market leader in the light and mid production market, achieving 3rd place for 2005 sales.1
Entry into the high-end printing market was assured by the introduction of Hitachi Printing Systems in the portfolio in 2005. In the meantime NRG’s portfolio has expanded to completeness that caters to needs of its highly professional customers.
Document management systems can easily be paired to software solutions such as Equitrac, doc-Q-manager, MicroPress, IPDS etc. and other applications, thus covering the widest possible spectrum.

Opened in 2005, the Ricoh Arena in Coventry is the location where the open house will be held. Its close proximity to Birmingham International Airport make the Arena the perfect setting to welcome visitors from all over Europe, also willing to attend the IPEX trade fair nearby.
