Bryan Adams Rocks at the Ricoh Arena!

Bryan Adams, one of the world's most highly acclaimed musicians, performed at the inaugural event of the Ricoh Arena on Friday, September 23.

The Canadian rock-star performed in the 7,000 capacity Jaguar Exhibition Hall at the new complex in Coventry. With his powerful gravelly vocals and reputation as an international singer and songwriter, he churned out hits such as All for Love, Can't Stop This Thing We Started, Heaven, Please Forgive Me, Run To You, Summer of 69, The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You and Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?

The 45-year-old's biggest hit was Everything I Do (I Do It For You), the soundtrack to the hit film Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, which topped the charts for 16 weeks - the longest running Number One single in British music history.

The stunning new development features a 30,000 seat football stadium, 7000 capacity indoor arena and dining space for over 2000 VIP guests. "I think the calibre of an artist like Bryan shows the intention that we have to bring the biggest and best acts to the city and will serve as a taster to the exciting names we hope to bring to the Ricoh Arena next year,” Paul Fletcher, CEO of the Ricoh Arena.
