NRG Group UK Ltd is proud to be a member of Business in the Community's PerCent Club and in 2002 were listed as 25th in The Giving List, having donated 3.4% of pre-tax profits to charities (as published by The Guardian, November 25 2002).

Examples of work undertaken in this area are as follows:

During the mid 1990's NRG Group UK Ltd donated significant numbers of business machines to schools through Gestetner Faxes for Schools and Gestetner Printers for Schools . These schemes involved collecting unwanted equipment from donor organizations, refurbishing and donating on to schools at a no cost basis.

Love in a Box

Throughout the four weeks leading up to Christmas 2004, NRG UK ran a company-wide promotion asking people to collect shoe boxes and put in toys for children between the ages of 2-15 years.  Mustard Seed Relief Missions is a registered charity, whose objective is to alleviate suffering and hardship by giving practical help.

A total of 120 boxes were collected and delivered to Mustard Seed Relief Missions in December 2004.

In Kind Direct

Since 1998 NRG Group UK Ltd has worked closely with In Kind Direct, an organization equipped to serve both charities and industry throughout the country, donating over 300 machines equating to more than £200,000 worth of equipment since the scheme started.

Mentoring/Schools

On an ongoing basis NRG Group UK Ltd pursue opportunities to provide support to local schools, communities and non-profit making organisations.
